securities and pension by fostering the integrity, stability
and health of the financial sector. |
Bank
of Jamaica (BoJ)
The Bank of Jamaica, established by the Bank of Jamaica Law
(1960) began operations in May 1961 with a mission to formulate
and implement monetary and regulatory policies to safeguard
the value of the domestic currency and to ensure the soundness
of the financial system. |

The Delegation of the European Commission in Jamaica was established
in April 1976, following the signature of the First Lomé
Convention in Togo on February 28, 1975. |

Jamaica
Conference Board
The Jamaica Conference Board (JCB) is a non-profit research
and advisory body that provides a platform for the development
and exchange of business knowledge. It is a project of the Jamaica
Chamber of Commerce and has received start-up assistance from
the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The aim of the JCB is to provide key decision makers with the
knowledge and information needed to make better business decisions.
Its goal is to help create more profitable and sustainable private
sector businesses in Jamaica. |
